Denain Anzin Metallurgie (D.A.MET) S.A.S.

D.A.MET joined the Stollberg Group in 1999. Our company was founded in 1984, resulting from a need of the French Iron and Steel Industry and in collaboration with the French Research Center for Steel & Iron Industry, IRSID. D.A.MET works in a close collaboration with IRSID and steel producer for new developments.
We are equipped with up to date facilities for the production and the laboratory in order to ensure the supply of excellent products in powder, granule, pellet and briquette shape.

Technical innovation

	ACARUS (patented trade mark): continuous casting flux with a very low free carbon content to avoid any C pick up on ULC, IFS grades.
	Ladle slag treatment product in briquettes

Improvement of environmental and safety conditions:

	Nodules for acid ladle and tundish covering
	Vitrifying agent to inert slag after tapping
	Recycling by atomisation of the steel plant dust (EAF, converter, ...) in order to re-inject them into the slag during the melting process.
